Apple News has created a Twitter account to News stories featured on the service. Apple’s team of US-based editors will curate the feed, which will consist of top stories and some of the most popular pieces on Apple News. Clicking on a link from the feed on an iPhone will automatically jump you into the Apple News app.

The service hasn’t gotten off to a fast start, with traffic from the app coming in lower than many in the industry expected with Apple’s user base. For it’s part, Apple did say it was underestimating the number of readers, although it couldn’t pinpoint the exact total number of readers. While a Twitter feed won’t solve Apple News’ viewership issues, it may make some people more aware that it exists, and strangely enough for an Apple product, awareness is one of its biggest issues right now.
